About Me

My name is Hélène.

I am a mum, an artist, a scientist and forever a dreamer.

French, I grew up in Brittany, and after 13 years in Paris and one in Brussels, I moved in Barcelone, where I live since 2019.

I am a biotechnology engineer by education with a career in the pharma industry since 17 years. I reconnected with art in in my mid 30s

Nowadays, I share my life between Science and Art.

I founded DIVINE Gallery in Barcelona in 2023, a space to celebrate womanity and self-empowerment via Art.

My Art

Inspired by Women, their body and their inner world, my Art talks about femininity, beauty, and the opposition existing between our external appearance and our inner fights.

I am a self-taught artist and I approach painting as a scientific experiment, testing my hypothesis by changing one parameter at a time...trying, failing, learning, trying again...

Moving from Illustration to big format canvas painting. I love mixing technics like watercolor, diluted acrylic painting, charcoal, posca…and play with the absorbance of the media, like thick and wet engraving papers or the raw side of cotton canvas.
